The aim of this module is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to understand the historical development of architecture and interior design from antiquity to the present day. This includes an understanding of the contextual influences of social history, including political movements, technological developments, philosophical beliefs and cultural aspects that have led to the evolutionary development of architecture and design styles and movements over the centuries.
