This module will be used as a basis to explore how e-portfolios are used to support learning activities for professional development and student learning.
Students will develop their own e-Portfolio example for use within their own area of practice. The educational theory and pedagogy behind e-Portfolio use will be researched and practiced in an online environment.

Students will research the use of mLearning in the classroom. Students will demonstrate the use of a portable device in the classroom for communicating and the use of applications for learning. The educational theory and pedagogy behind mLearning use in the classroom will be researched and discussed in an online environment.
Module co-requisite: Students are highly advised to have a mobile smart device like android phone / tablet or iphone / ipad to participate fully in this module.

ICT and Early Childhood Education
This module aims to provide the student a broad introduction to a range of free desktop and online multimedia authoring tools that can be used by students and teachers to easily create a variety of code based multi - curriculum learning activities, resources, games and therefore provide a stepping stone to the more advanced world of computer programming, application and game development.
Students will be introduced to a range of core coding applications that will span early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary for teaching and learning purposes.
At their chosen level the aim of this course is to provide teachers with competence in using coding, authoring tools in their classrooms to problem solve and create.
