2021 GDITE modules

The special topic is an independent research module where the student chooses a topic that is related to the use of ICT in schools/education. The topic is then researched and a report is presented for assessment. This module is very flexible in terms of topic and delivery. Usually the results are presented in a report form however this is flexible and can be negotiated with the GDITE tutor.

The student works independently with support from the GDITE tutor who is a mentor or guide. It is important that the students communicates regularly with the tutor and sets milestones so the research is completed within the 15 week semester timeframe. The topic needs to be clearly defined and research parameters set so the research does not get too unwieldy and difficult to complete. Keep it simple is a good guideline.
