This module is designed to build a foundation to assess security threats to information technology systems and networks, and evaluate possible countermeasures and techniques for investigating security breaches. 

You will learn how to understand and appreciate the need for :

  • Layers of security, intrusion prevention systems, secure network devices 

  • Electronic crime, forensic tools and techniques
