In this module students will develop an understanding of mental health and addiction issues and their impacts upon the lives of whānau and their support systems. Students will develop a beginning Recovery oriented practice which is informed by theory and practice frameworks. Skills in screening, identification and assessment of issues will be developed. Students will learn skills in facilitating groups in the mental health and addiction context
