This research used the seven desirable attributes that employers seek sourced from ‘Employability Skills Framework’ (Careers NZ, 2017) and suggested there were ten capabilities that we need to ‘teach’, namely, positive attitude, communication, teamwork, self-management, willingness to learn, thinking skills, resilience, innovation, entrepreneurship and cultural competence.
