      At Alert Level 3, you cannot come into campus for your classes so your teaching team will move to an online teaching model that will include Zoom and Moodle. Your COVID learning content is available to you on each tab.

      In this programme you will gain highly transferable skills that will allow you to progress in your chosen career. The project-based Café Skills programme is hands-on, allowing you the opportunity to work in commercial kitchens and restaurant services. Students will have the opportunity to gain NCEA Level 2 qualification and café skills required by industry.

      The tutors will lead you through preparing and cooking basic pasta dishes, preparing and cooking basic pastry dishes, practising food safety methods and preparing and baking basic loaves of bread. In the Food and Beverage section, you will provide table service, prepare and serve hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, prepare and clear areas for table service, and espresso coffee equipment and preparation.
