There are several collaborative tools and activities included in your module. These have been designed to help you share ideas with your peers, and work with them to develop your knowledge.
Where the tool allows, you can add graphics to illustrate a point you are making. Using these can be more economical and effective than just text.
Note: Some users have poor internet connections, so lots of graphics / videos may make it time consuming for them to load course pages.
Forums
Forums get used for discussion as a way to share ideas. Forum messages are automatically sent to the email address registered on your Moodle account. You can add things other than text on a Forum:
images / diagrams (JPG, GIF, PNG)
documents / files (WORD, PPT, PDF)
videos (AVI, MP4)
URLs.
Your tutor will create the Forum activities for your module. They will pose a question / task for you to comment on. You may also be asked to reply to your peers’ comments.
