The purpose of this module is to refine the skills in analysis and critical reflection necessary for the student to undertake a research paper at graduate level. Specific issues in contemporary thought will be examined and the relationship of these issues to the discourse and practice of art and design will be explored. The student will be required to integrate and extend their understanding of the issues raised in this module through discussion, debate and critically reflective writing.
