Enrolment options

This module requires participants to develop, implement, evaluate and modify assessment tasks suitable for assessing the language skills of students from whom English is an additional language. You will select, adapt, or create reading, writing, listening and speaking assessment tasks for the learners. After implementing the assessment tasks, you will describe and make comparisons between the language skills of the English language learners and those of native speakers of English. You will evaluate and modify the assessment tasks and link your practice to relevant theoretical issues.
