BSTE401 Construction Industry Environment

Aim:

To enable the student to develop and apply skills and knowledge of construction law and documentation, and to communicate effectively within the construction environment. 

Learning Outcomes:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of the key roles within the construction industry 
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the role and types of documentation required within the construction industry, to ensure accurate and timely communication 
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the New Zealand Legal framework and its application to the construction industry 
4. Demonstrate an understanding of the methods and application of dispute resolution relevant to the construction industry​
