On a building site, you will find yourself working with or around a lot of mechanical concreting equipment. This equipment is likely to include:

  • Compactors
  • Concrete pumps
  • Concrete mixers
  • Power floats
  • Concrete vibrators

Remember to always become familiar with the manufacturer's information on the specific equipment you are using, especially if using it for the first time.

Concrete pump

Concrete pumping is highly dangerous, so you must plan carefully to manage the safety risks.
