Site investigation
What will I learn from this interaction?
Site investigation is an essential part of the building process. The site investigation MUST be extremely thorough. DO NOT CUT CORNERS.
Site investigation can be organised into three main parts:
- Before you investigate the site - approval, working drawings, clients and expert input, etc.
- Site investigation itself - from confirming you have the right section to deciding where to store/remove the topsoil for landscaping.
- Site preparation - what you need to do at the site before you can start the excavation
